1374 Isora : ウィキペディア英語版
1374 Isora

1374 Isora, provisional designation 1935 UA, is a stony asteroid and eccentric Mars-crosser from the innermost regions of the asteroid belt, about 5 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered by Belgian astronomer Eugène Delporte at the Royal Observatory of Belgium in Uccle, on 21 October 1935.〔
The S-type asteroid, classified as a Sq-subtype in the SMASS taxonomy, orbits the Sun at a distance of 1.6–2.9 AU once every 3 years and 5 months (1,233 days). Its orbit shows a high eccentricity of 0.28 and is tilted by 5 degrees to the plane of the ecliptic. In 2014, CCD photometric observations of its light-curve resulted in a rather long rotation period of 36.7 hours,〔 superseding an older observation from the 1990s, which found a period of only hours.〔 The Collaborative Asteroid Lightcurve Link (CALL) assumes a geometric albedo of 0.20, typical for a stony asteroid.〔
The asteroid's named was proposed by Gustav Stracke, (1887–1943), astronomer at the German Astronomisches Rechen-Institut, and after whom the minor planet 1019 Strackea is named. It is not known whether or not the name refers to any person, location or occurrence.〔
